Wonena Marketplace Witheld Tax
Depending on where your order is being shipped, Wonena may be required by law to calculate, collect, and remit various taxes, including national, state, or local sales or use taxes, as well as goods and services taxes (GST), or value-added taxes (VAT) (referred to collectively as Taxes).
Marketplace tax collection applies universally to all products sold by any seller on Wonena Marketplace when an order is shipped to a jurisdiction (country, state, county, city, district) where Marketplace Facilitator laws are in effect. Sellers must agree to automatic Marketplace Tax Collection regardless of their location, the origin of the product or order, or the volume of sales.
The buyer is responsible for paying the Taxes collected by Wonena on the purchased product. These collected amounts are detailed on your order information and reporting, with a deduction (using the reporting identifiers in the provided table) equal to the amount that Wonena is obligated to remit to the appropriate government authority.
It's important to note that Wonena does not handle the reporting or remittance of taxes on behalf of any seller to government authorities.
