A Women Owned Treasure 🙌 from Santiago de Chile

Hilana Upcycled Cotton was founded in 2015 by Pía Aspillaga and Francisca Sánchez in Santiago, Chile. Inspired by cotton upcycling in Tlaxcala, Mexico, they launched their first collection of Turkish towels made from recycled cotton. Partnering with artisans in Denizli, Turkey, they’ve since recycled over three tons of post-production cotton.

Women-led brands bring new perspectives and innovation. To invest in them is to invest in their communities.

Honest Sourcing at every stepZero Waste Focus 🌎

Upcycled content refers to 100% fabrics that come from post-consumer materials. Upcycling clothing is the art of transforming old or unwanted garments into fresh and distinctive creations. This craft involves cutting, sewing, incorporating new embellishments, and repurposing fabrics into new pieces.

The brand uses sustainable, plastic-free materials for packaging to minimize waste and environmental impact. Orders are carefully packaged to ensure both quality and ecological integrity.
